The 14th UPLB-CAS Student-Faculty Research Conference (SFRC) is both a gathering of the scholars and a celebration of what we have accomplished in terms of research outputs in different fields. Students and faculty members from different disciplinary moorings -- social sciences and humanities, mathematical sciences, biological sciences, to city just a few -- will be participating this year. The papers for presentation reflect the disciplinary interests, and research strengths of both students and faculty in the College
